How to Change Samsung Tablet Screen Timeout Settings?

With a roughly 24 percent market share, Samsung is one of the most popular tablet manufacturers in the world, trailing only Apple. If you have purchased a new tablet, there are a few options you may wish to customize. The screen timeout settings are relatively low by default. That means your screen will turn off after a few seconds, which may be inconvenient depending on how you use your tablet.

This article will teach you how to alter the screen timeout settings on your Samsung tablet. This feature effectively allows you to choose how long the screen remains on while you are not actively using it.

The lower the level, the better the gadget will save energy. However, if you notice that the screen shuts down too rapidly, you can correct it in a few simple steps.

 

How to Change Samsung Tablet Screen Timeout Settings?


Here is how to change the timeout settings on a Samsung tablet:

  1. Go into the Settings menu
  2. Navigate to the Display tab
  3. Find the Screen timeout option
  4. Change the Screen timeout to whatever you prefersamsung tablet

The first step is to navigate to the Settings section of your Samsung tablet. To open the dropdown menu, simply drag your finger down from the top of the screen. Then, in the top right of the menu, touch on the cogwheel icon.

When you access the Settings menu, a selection of choices will appear on the left. The display should be the fourth one. Brightness, Eye comfort shield, Navigation bar, and other choices are available in the Display settings menu.

Screen timeout may be found in the Display settings menu on the right. About nine selections down from the top are the Screen timeout option. When you tap on Screen timeout, you’ll find the following options:

  • 15 seconds
  • 30 seconds
  • 1 minute
  • 2 minutes
  • 5 minutes
  • 10 minutes

The screen timeout settings are set to less than one minute by default. If you prefer a longer timeout, remember to manually switch off your screen after you’re done with it to save battery life!
