Should you buy an iPhone now or wait for the iPhone 13?

We are just one month away from Apple’s new flagship iPhone 13 line. We expect a greater focus on camera upgrades, performance enhancements, and a smaller number of notch this year. Is it better to wait for the iPhone 13 or buy an iPhone right now?

iPhone 13 expectations

The iPhone 13 lineup will be very similar to the iPhone 12, as we have shown in our complete guide. The iPhone 13 lineup will include the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Mini with a 5.8-inch screen, and iPhone 13 Pro Max with an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Apple may introduce a new Always-On Display similar to the Apple Watch on the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Similar to the iPad Pro, this will allow refresh rates of up to 120Hz. This year, the display’s notch will be smaller. According to reports, the iPhone 13 will feature around a 30% reduction in size in terms of width.

The camera will be a major focus for this year, especially with the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The first includes the wide lens with sensor shift stabilization. Apple added 2.5x optical zoom and better stabilization to the iPhone 12 Pro Max last year.

What will the iPhone 13 bring to the iPhone lineup?

Apple used to have a simple iPhone lineup. However, it is more complicated now and it is unclear which iPhone models will be around after the iPhone 13.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be almost certain to be discontinued after the iPhone 13 is introduced. The iPhone 12 standard could be kept at a lower price, while the iPhone 11 could drop to the iPhone XR.

Do you want to buy now or wait?

Every August9to5MacPeople are constantly asking if they should purchase the iPhone model from last year or wait to see what Apple has in September. Even if you aren’t interested in the new technology coming to the iPhone this year, the answer is always obvious:wait.

Even if you wait for the iPhone 13 and end up purchasing an older model, it will be worth it. The iPhone 13 will make older iPhones, both directly from Apple or from third-party vendors, more affordable. August, despite the fact that you may not end up with the most recent and greatest iPhone, is the worst month to purchase a new iPhone.
