For developers, Apple released macOS Monterey 12.4 RC (Release Candidate) on Thursday.
The update also includes a new Studio Display wallpaper, in addition to improvements and new capabilities in the Podcasts app. You may download it here if you wish to use it on other devices.
This wallpaper was inspired by the marketing graphics for Apple’s Studio Display, which debuted with Mac Studio in March. The artwork contains tones of blue, purple, and orange and depicts the letters of the word “Studio” folded.
Unlike most macOS wallpapers, this one only comes in a single version, with no separate pictures for bright and dark settings.
MacOS Monterey 12.4 has the new Studio Display wallpaper. If you don’t want to wait for the official update, you may download the latest picture right now. The picture is a little huge since it is a macOS wallpaper with a 6K resolution.
The new Studio Display wallpaper is available in full quality for download below.
If you’re using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, be sure you click the I button to download the full-resolution wallpaper, and then set it using the Photos or Settings apps.
