Drake takes Apple Music record from Kanye for most-streamed album launch

Drake’s new album “Certified Lover Boy” broke multiple records within 24 hours of being made available for listening on Apple Music. Apple Music released the sixth album by Canadian rapper and singer, “Certified Lover Boy,” on September 3. It instantly made an impact on listeners. Apple Music made the album “Certified Lover Boy” available for download.

Apple announced that Drake had broken Drake’s record for streaming the most albums in 2021 in 12 hours. Kanye West’s delayed album “Donda,” which received 60 million streams within its first 24 hours of release, was also close behind.

Drake was the most streamed artist in Apple Music 2021, thanks to its album release.
Apple Music explained that songs from the album topped the Daily Top 100 charts of 51 countries and swept the top 21 spots for 18 countries.

Apple Music’s three top songs are “Girls Want Girls,” “Champagne Poetry,” and “Fair Trade” by Travis Scott.
Drake’s record-breaking performances aren’t limited to Apple Music. It’s also the most-streamed Spotify song in one day.
