Cross-play and cross-progression will be available on iOS devices when Diablo Immortal launches in June

It was reported today that Diablo Immortal, a new mobile Diablo entry, will be released on June 2 for iOS and Android devices, with a PC version to follow at some point in the future.

Everything you need to know about the game can be found here in one place.

After the events of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, the “untold chapter in the Diablo tale” takes place. When the free-to-play MMORPG comes out later this year, you’ll need to be connected to the internet to play.

The Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead, and mankind is left to deal with the aftermath of his actions. Fragments of the shattered Worldstone, still embued with great power, are tainting the land. Diablo’s minions hope to harness that power to allow the Lord of Terror to return.

Blizzard reveals in a news release for Diablo Immortal that players will be able to “Traverse eight additional zones, each with their own hellish style,” as Blizzard reveals in a news release for Diablo Immortal.Even so, “the gates of hell have been left open for the possible addition of other zones and materials.

Progress and purchases made in the PC version of Diablo Immortal will be carried over. Pre-registration for this MMORPG, which will go live on June 2nd, is open right now.

To play, you’ll need an iPhone or iPad running iOS 11. You can check to see if your device is Diablo Immortal-compatible here.

The release date and PC announcement trailer can be seen below, so make sure to check them both out. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
