Apple Studio Display is now officially available in shops, and the device has already been purchased by a number of buyers worldwide.
Unlike the Pro Display XDR, the Studio Display features an unusual non-removable power connection.
It turns out that the cable is detachable, however removal requires a specialized equipment.
Apple states on its website that the Studio Display’s power cable is not detachable – and several customers have expressed the same sentiment.
That is because disconnecting the cord with your naked hands appears difficult, but fortunately, the cable can be disconnected from the display.
The power wire may be readily unplugged from the display by wrapping it around the tool that acts as a grip.
Unfortunately, because this is an internal tool developed for Apple personnel, you should not expect to discover it on the market.
Even if you have such a gadget, it may not be as beneficial in your house. Because to the Studio Display’s proprietary power connector, most likely due to its small design, it is also difficult to obtain a new cable from sources other than Apple.
The sole silver lining is that Apple can replace the cable rather than the entire display, which should result in lower out-of-warranty repair charges.
Apple does not release information on the cost of repairs for the new Studio Display, but you can purchase a $149 AppleCare+ plan for it that covers damage and adds a year to the guarantee.

It’s worth noting that some users have managed to remove the power cable from Apple Studio Display themselves, but this can result in damage to the product, and you should avoid doing this.
Apple Studio Display is now available for sale with prices starting at $1,599, depending on configuration.
