Apple’s support staff has replied to accusations that the recent iOS 15 upgrade is causing iPhone batteries to drain quicker than usual, and has offered one remedy.
It’s not uncommon for an iOS upgrade to cause a quicker than typical depletion of an iPhone battery, as witnessed with iOS 14.6. Similarly, when the iPhone 12 Pro was released, consumers complained about the same issue.
Despite the fact that the problem affects an unknown number of iOS 15.4 users, Apple has provided an explanation and a solution.
Thanks for reaching out! We'll be happy to help. It's normal for your apps and features to need to adjust up to 48 hours after an update.
Let's have you reach out to us in a DM if this is still an issue after that time so we can help you look into this further.

It’s not an admission of any unique battery drain problem. Instead, it’s advised that might be implemented after any upgrade.
Nonetheless, Apple support is actively advising people to wait and see whether the problem fixes itself. It also promises to follow up if difficulties continue.
