Apple Arcade, Apple’s gaming streaming service, will lose 15 titles shortly, as the firm has recently launched a new “Leaving Arcade Soon” button containing games that will no longer be part of the 200+ offers accessible to members.
According to TouchArcade, Apple has introduced a new section named “Leaving Arcade Soon” at the bottom of the Arcade page in the App Store, which shows which titles will be withdrawn from the streaming service shortly.
As of yet, Apple has not said when the titles will be removed – or which new additions may follow. You can only guess when it will be “soon.” According to the magazine, this is not the first time Apple Arcade has withdrawn titles, albeit it is the first time Apple has advertised this.
The following are the current 15 titles that will be departing Apple Arcade soon:
- Atone: Heart of the Elder Tree
- BattleSky Brigade: Harpooner
- Dead End Job
- Don’t Bug Me!
- Dread Nautical
- Over the Alps
- Projection: First Light
- Towaga: Among Shadows
- Various Daylife
The removal of these titles from Apple Arcade raises a few unresolved issues. Will, for example, the complete versions of these games be available for purchase on the App Store? Are they leaving for good? Will people waste their time playing these (or other) games?
Because the corporation hasn’t commented on these titles going, we’ll have to wait and see whether a support document or a spokesperson clarifies the reasoning behind this move.
The streaming service costs $4.99 per month and is included with every Apple One bundle membership. You may discover more about all of the games offered by clicking here.
Although I was unfamiliar with these titles, Apple Arcade has numerous popular, old iOS games as well as some significant titles such as Fantasian, created by the Final Fantasy author.
