iPhone 13 will launch in September with bigger batteries and A15 chip

Apple is likely to release all four models of its new “iPhone 13” lineup in September with larger batteries, an updated chipset, and expanded mmWave 5G support, according to research firm TrendForce.

TrendForce, on Thursday, outlined its expectations regarding the device. It says it will be back to a September release. According to TrendForce, iPhone shipments are expected to rise by 30% in the third quarter of 2021, based on the new models.

TrendForce also lists some features they expect to see on the new iPhone 13 models. These features are in line with reports and rumors.

According to the research company, the iPhone 13 will feature larger batteries and a 5nm-A15 chipset. It may also extend mmWave 5G support in more countries. These rumors are based both on past rumors and leaks from supply chain reports.

According to other reports, the new iPhone 13 will feature a 120Hz ProMotion display and other professional camera features, such as the ProRes video recorder. According to a July report, the “iPhone 13 Pro” models will switch from Pacific Blue to a bronze-like “Sunset Gold.”

Apple usually unveils new iPhone models in September. Apple launched the iPhone 12 line in October 2020, partly due to the pandemic. Most reports claim that the company will resume its normal release schedule.
