How to Install VS Code on a Flash Drive?

  1. Download the. ZIP or .TAR.GZ version of VS Code

There will be no User or System-level changes made when installing the compressed version of Visual Studio Code.

If you’re using Windows or macOS, use the.ZIP format, and if you’re using Linux, use the TAR.GZ format. Click here to download.

2. Extract the. ZIP or .TAR.GZ

3. Copy the extracted files to your Flash Drive

4. Inside the extracted folder, create a folder called “data
