It is very easy to use. Just connect it to a decent pressure washer are you are good to go. Oh, and you do not have to worry if you don’t own a hi-tech pressure washer because this cannon works well on both electric and gas pressure washers.

As for the design and durability of this product, I would give it a 10/10. The bottle of the cannon is seemed to be well made as the plastic is very thick. Patented Brass Threaded Bottle

Most of the foam cannons have plastic threaded bottles that screw into brass. Metal to plastic connection causes the threads of the bottle to strip out quickly, rendering the foam cannon useless. To address this issue, SudMagic has made a brass threaded bottle that will not strip.

Surprisingly missing from many of the bottles, the patented brass threaded bottle has measuring marks on the side of the bottle for making a perfect concentration mix.

however, what I liked about it was how easily it attaches to the pressure washer. What’s even better is that it can handle the pressure of 200 – 3000 PSI, meaning you can wash from your car to a house without a hitch.

The build of the gun is very good. The foam lance core is made of quality brass while the container is made out of thick white plastic. There are (2) adjustments that allow you to dial in the sprayer for any situation: the top dial is for foam dispensing amount and the nozzle adjusts the spray pattern (wide to narrow).

Pro tips:

– The knob lets you control the water-to-soap ratio. Not to be confused, the minus (-) sign means less water, and more soap (so more foam is produced), and the (+) sign indicates otherwise.  

– Make sure not to max out the knob to the (-) side. For max foam, turn the knob to the (-), then twist it back a little.

Final thoughts:

MATCC gun is flexible and versatile enough to work on all vehicles from large trucks and trailers to bikes and boats. I faced some leakage issues (though this could be due to high-pressure) but the overall experience with the MATCC foam gun was great.

You don’t even need to mix water and cleaning solution beforehand, the custom mixing head blends the perfect ratio of car wash soap, running water, and ambient air to gently clean any vehicle with foaming suds.

Adjustable Foam Concentration

The problem with most foam guns is the imbalanced usage of soap and water. Is your car very dirty or not much dirty? A properly balanced mixture of soap and water is a must, which will not only do the job properly but will also save the soap and your money.

Fortunately, Gilmour Foamaster Foam Cannon offers a dial that lets you pick the perfect concentration. Simply, turn the dial to adjust the dilution ratio of the soapy foam sprayed from the nozzle.

The Gilmour Foamaster II offers tons of features, most notably – the concentration adjuster and the even distribution of the liquid, though it is quite hard to ignore the unreliable design/aesthetic resulting in the spray nozzle knocking off, creating scratches on the body.

Installer Champ Foam Blaster

This foam blaster by Installer Champ is primarily sold to & used by professional detailers that let you blanket your vehicle in thick, creamy foam for professional-level detailing at the convenience of your home. Not to be confused, similar to the MATCC foam gun, the minus (-) sign indicates less water, more foam and the (+) indicates more water, less foam. 

Overall, the quality of the gun is extremely top notch and I have no complaints about the products. To make the deal sweeter, the brass connector and bottle come with 90 days, 100% “no questions asked” leakproof warranty.

Mostly used by professionals, the Installer Champ is a truly effective auto detailing choice for you. Good build, high-pressure flow handling, thick foam, and no major complaints– it checks all the boxes.

Fasmov pressure washer foam cannon

Fasmov cannon is another great option for you if you are on a tight budget.

The cleaning prowess of Fasmov is amazing and it can do much more than just car wash owing to the adjustable nozzle.

For cleaning a fragile surface, you can set the nozzle at a wide angle so that it can produce the foam gently. As for a car wash, or cleaning any hard surface, any angle will do. The foam produced is thick enough to stick around on any surface to ensure proper cleaning.

The packaging of this product was decent but what impressed me was the build quality. It came with a ¼ inch quick connector made of high-quality brass and a bottle made of hard plastic. Thankfully, the bottle was translucent which allowed me to monitor the soap level easily.

The cannon worked flawlessly out of the box and all in all, I would say that it is a pretty decent foam cannon.

The cannon offers great value for its price and I have no complaint whatsoever! Sure, it is not entirely perfect, but it gets the job done!
